This policy applies to both per-job mowing payments made by Homeowners and the NearMow Pro monthly subscription for Specialists.
You may cancel a job request at any time before the job is marked complete, at no charge. If a job has already been accepted by a Specialist, we ask that you cancel as early as possible out of courtesy to the Specialist, but no cancellation fee currently applies.
After a job is marked complete: payment is charged once a job is marked complete by the Specialist. If you believe a job was not completed, was completed incorrectly, or does not match what was requested, contact the Specialist directly through Platform messaging first. If that does not resolve the issue, contact us at hello@nearmow.com within 48 hours of the job being marked complete with details and, where possible, photos. We will review the request and, at our discretion, may issue a full or partial refund of the amount paid, or facilitate a resolution with the Specialist.
Platform fees: the platform fee applied to a job is generally non-refundable once a job is completed and paid, except where NearMow issues a full refund of the job itself.
NearMow Pro is billed monthly in advance and renews automatically until canceled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your profile or the Stripe billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain Pro features until then. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months.
If a subscription payment fails, your account may enter a grace period during which you can update your payment method before Pro features are suspended, as indicated in your profile.
We encourage you to contact us at hello@nearmow.com before initiating a dispute or chargeback with your bank or card issuer, so we can attempt to resolve the issue directly. Initiating a chargeback for a legitimately completed and undisputed job may result in suspension of your account pending resolution.
Email hello@nearmow.com with your account email, the job or subscription in question, and a description of the issue. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
